Give to Endowment

The Citizens Research Council of Michigan created the Independence Fund in 2000 to help secure the long-term future of the organization. While the organization was then and remains fiscally sound, the growing competition for dollars and economic variability threatens our ability to access the funds we need to continue to deliver adequate public policy research to meet an every-growing demand. This endowment ensures we have the ability over time to deliver the independent, unbiased research that is the cornerstone of our organization.

The Independence Fund provides resources that are used exclusively for research. It provides the flexibility to respond to timely research opportunities as they arise.

The Independence Fund is invested at both Comerica Bank and the Community Foundation of Southeast Michigan. Your generous gift to one of these funds provides operating funds in perpetuity to enable our continued research of public policy issues for the betterment of state and local government in Michigan.
