The Citizens Research Council is very interested in learning about public policy issues of interest to Michigan citizens. These are some guidelines we use in considering policies:

Is the topic in the realm of public policy?

Is there timeliness to the topic (we need time to conduct research)?

Is it a topic that our research can drive public discourse?

Is it a topic for which our research can be fact-driven? impactful? proactive? Nonpartisan? Objective?

Will it affect the perception of our independence?
