Internship Opportunities

Internship Opportunities

The Citizens Research Council of Michigan offers unpaid internship opportunities to graduate and undergraduate students in political science, public administration, economics, or related fields.
Internships offer the opportunity to work with the Council’s research staff to conduct research, develop policy papers, prepare presentations, and provide support in other office affairs.  Internships may be used to satisfy school requirements or simply to gain experience in the study of public policy analysis.
The internships will last for an agreed upon number of weeks with time in the office ranging from 16-40 hours per week.  Internships may be arranged in our Livonia or Lansing offices.
Applicants must be willing to abstain from political activity (lobbying, campaigning, circulating petitions, fundraising for political candidates or causes, contacting the media related to political causes, etc.) during the internship period.
For more information, Download application and submit it with a writing sample, call 734.542.8001, or inquire at crcmich@crcmichstaging.wpengine.com.
