WHAT: Join the Research Council staff in collaboration with the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce as we discuss measures on the statewide November ballot.
– Proposal 1 – Whether to convene a constitutional convention for the purpose of drafting a new state constitution
– Proposal 2 – Money out of Politics to prohibit campaign contributions from regulated electric and gas utilities and contractors with over $250,000 annually in government contracts; to expand laws regulating spending on political communications; and to require disclosure of who paid for internet political communication

Lunch will be served at noon with the presentation to follow.
