Community Conversations with the Research Council

Thank you for your interest in Community Conversations with the Research Council. Unfortunately, this event has reached capacity. Please email Anne Wardle at awardle@crcmich.org to be added to the waitlist.

The Citizens Research Council of Michigan’s Detroit Bureau cordially invites you to a luncheon conversation and exchange of ideas designed to help deepen and grow relationships between the Research Council and Detroit changemakers.

Our first luncheon conversation will be hosted by The Skillman Foundation, a long-standing partner of the Citizens Research Council. The Research Council was founded in Detroit in 1916 and our Detroit Bureau, which focuses solely on Detroit’s schools and city issues, was reopened in 2021.

At the luncheon, the Research Council will provide a brief overview of our work and share some recent policy analysis of Detroit issues. Then, we’ll invite you to discuss the pressing policy issues Detroit residents, advocates, community organizations, and nonprofits are passionate about to inform Detroit Bureau’s research agenda. The goal: good policy that works for Detroit.
