Inaugural Emerging Leaders Council Event

Our first ever Emerging Leaders networking event is on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m., hosted by Citizens Research Council Director Ann Fillingham at Dykema’s Lansing office (201 Townsend Street, Suite 900).

This event at Dykema will provide an excellent opportunity for you to meet members of our Board of Directors and interact with our staff. We will share highlights of our very productive 2023 publications and ask you to share your thoughts on what policy issues should be addressed in our 2024 Research Agenda. Your recommendations on the most relevant and pressing issues facing our state will be shared with the entire board at our December meeting for consideration. I also invite you to bring any ideas on how the Research Council can enhance membership benefits for those like you who join the Emerging Leaders Council.

The Council knows students and young professionals interested in sound public policy have a role to play in the future of Michigan’s economic and cultural successes. Please add the event to your calendar and RSVP to Maureen Saxton at msaxton@crcmich.org so we know to expect you.

We look forward to seeing you there.
