Let’s talk: ‘Responsible Growth’ series will look at the impact of cannabis on Michigan communities

Where:

Old Town Marquee, 319 Cesar E. Chavez Ave.

The Citizens Research Council of Michigan presents

A CRC Social Event

With the passage of Proposal 1 in 2018, the era of fully legal marijuana is upon us. What will this mean for Michigan? A new, statewide series of happy-hour events will unpack it – with audience input welcome.

Our first CRC Social event will be October 22 in Lansing, at the Old Town Marquee, 319 Cesar E. Chavez Ave., starting at 5:30 p.m. This will be a happy-hour networking event, with time to relax with a drink, talk to your friends and colleagues in the crowd, and then settle in for a lively discussion, which you’ll be encouraged to contribute to.

Our panelists for this first event will be:

** Robin Schneider, executive director of the Michigan Cannabis Industry Association
** Jennifer Rigterink, legislative associate for the Michigan Municipal League

Zoe Clark, from Michigan Radio, will moderate.

Admission is $25 and includes two drink tickets. Reserve your place at this link. We hope to see you there.

Sponsorships for this and future events in the series is also available. Contact Rebecca Bahar-Cook at rebeccabc@capitolfundraising.com for more information.
