2020 Virtual Public Policy Event

Dear friend of the Citizens Research Council of Michigan:

Citizens Research Council is dedicated to securing a responsible, accountable, and representative government for the citizens of Michigan. We strive to be the trusted source of fact-based, non-biased research provided without spin. During times of crisis, when there is no time for partisan games, we recognize the importance of ensuring citizens can be truthfully informed.

Each year the Citizens Research Council hosts an annual fundraising event that brings together elected officials, corporate executives, and community leaders to recognize the importance of our work. This year, because of the current coronavirus crisis, we have decided to go virtual and bring this event online to ensure everyone’s safety on Thursday, October 22nd from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.

Please, fill out and send back the pledge form (sponsorship packet link), save October 22 on your calendar, and plan to join us for a 90-minute virtual event. The evening will showcase a panel of public health experts discussing their perspective on what we have learned during the pandemic and what public policy steps Michigan should take to prepare for the next one. A second part of the evening will feature a high-profile individual speaking about current affairs.

Will you become a sponsor this year?  As we navigate this crisis, one thing is certain; Citizens Research Council needs financial support from investors like you to continue providing sound public policy research that holds our government accountable and keeps our citizen’s informed.  You can find our COVID-19 analysis on our website at www.crcmich.org.

Sponsors will be recognized during the online event, included in a virtual program book that will emailed to all registrants, and highlighted on our website and in social media posts promoting our fundraiser.  Because this is a virtual event each sponsor will be able to register an unlimited number of your clients, customers, or friends. Please take a moment to review the sponsorship packet, which details sponsor levels and benefits, as well as information on some of our latest research.

For more than 104 years, Citizens Research Council has remained a vital asset assessing both the intended and unintended consequences of Michigan’s public policy. When the dust settles, the Citizens Research Council will be here to keep a critical eye on our elected leaders and public policy makers to ensure their policies are efficient, cost effective and thoughtful for Michigan’s citizens.
